OUR LIFE THROUGH THE MIND OF GOD

Psalms 37:3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.

Here is the key to abundant life, abundant provision, Trust in the Lord and do good, but do we see it?  Do we understand it?

Our physical senses see things in a distorted way; but our spiritual senses see things in their full reality, as they really are.  Our physical eyes observe the God-despising wicked enjoy laughter, peace and plenty, while the righteous seems to be forsaken.  This is what the physical eye, analyzing with the carnal mind sees; but the eyes of the Spirit, which understand with the mind of God, see things differently.

Oh, let us see and watch how the eyes of the spirit of God see all things, how they try the heart of mankind. When the wicked sits in the indulgence of the life of the earth, the eyes of the Spirit see him exchange an incorruptible inheritance for a mess of potage (Genesis 25:34); he despises a solid future inheritance for a flighty feeling of present wealth and comfort.  The eyes of the Spirit see the wicked choosing to reign a little now and suffer forever, while the righteous suffers a little now but will reign with Him forever (2 timothy 2:12).

O, let us not look with the lying eyes of the flesh, understanding with our carnal mind. Let us look with the eyes of the Spirit and understand with the mind of God. We must let go of our own works and efforts that we hope will bring us safety and plenty. Let us just trust the Lord and obey His good commandments.  

James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
