Daily Devotion

Psalms 91:11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

Let us hear if we can’t see; let us see if we can’t hear. If we can neither hear nor see, let us believe in the Word that assures our protection. If we’ve become one with the Son of Man, we own the same privileges as He does; and the security that is at Jesus’ disposal, protects us also.

It is not one angel that has been assigned to our spiritual protection, but his angels. The question is not “How many angels fit on the head of a pin”, but rather “How many angels does it take to protect one of us?”. Nevertheless, God did not count and He charged his heavenly angelic armies with our care.

What do we have to fear, and why would we fret? Like the young servant of Elijah in the story, let us ask God to open the dull eyes of our spirit so we can see His marvelous angels and understand all the ways in which he protects us daily (2 Kings 6:17).

Daniel 6:23 . . . So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no manner of hurt was found upon him, because he believed in his God.
