HONOR FROM THE KING, NOT FROM MAN

Psalms 37:18 The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever.

Sometimes we give our all to the cause of Christ, to the cause of sharing Him with others, to the cause of being an accurate presentation of Him to our spouses, children, neighbors, co-workers, friends. Such dedication often ends in troubles, hardships, deprivations, self-denials, misunderstandings, persecution, harassment, and humiliations. No one; no, no one on earth will ever be able to truly appreciate and evaluate the price that some of us pay for the cause of Christ when He so chooses that His Words, “Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven” be fulfilled in us (Matthew 6:10).

Hasn’t he said that the Father, who sees in secret, shall reward us openly (Mat 6:6)? So let us take courage my friend. The Lord sees it all and in the days when the books are opened, the light of our love for Him will shine for all to see. Let us not be discouraged at the indifference of man, for we will then be honored and rewarded accordingly.

We will not seek not to be acknowledged and honored here on earth by men whose values of worth, justice and righteousness are vile and corrupt. We will rather seek for the vindication that only God can, and will give us in front of all His holy angels and saints created from the foundation of the world, and that my friend is our incorruptible and eternal inheritance; no-one can take it from us.

Matthew 25:29 For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.

Revelations 11:18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
