DELIVERANCE FROM THE CURSE

December 22

DELIVERANCE FROM THE CURSE

Psalms 37:22 For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off.

The Mosaic Law pronounces a curse of death against those who do not ‘confirm’ in their lives all the Words of the Law to do them (Deuteronomy 27:26). The Mosaic also points us to Jesus who is the One who fulfills and satisfies the legalistic requirements of the Mosaic Law through His life, death and resurrection.

Many of us carry the heavy load incurred by our sins. We feel their curse through an unworthiness to approach God. Because of our sins, we live our lives under the fear of death.

And all the more, we seek to inherit the land of peace where we can find meadows of happiness and prairies of abundance. We long for waterfalls of forgiving grace; for the land where we walk with the Lord in the cool of the day sharing heart to heart with Him.

Seek no more, but run to Yeshuah, the Messiah. He is the fount of God’s redeeming grace given for free to all who desire it. The price is the same for everyone rich or poor. It is the price of a pearl, which a man when he found it one day, bought it and was willing to part with all that he had (Matthew 13:45,46).

Dear friend, let us be freed today from the curse of the Law (Galatians 3:13); let us rather be blessed in receiving on our heart His redeeming blood shed for us. Let us, through this blood, inherit today the Promised Land of abundance of happiness and love where peace passes all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Galatians 3:13-14 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
