GOD'S REFLECTORS

GOD’S REFLECTORS

Psalms 19:3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.

In the beginning God put light in the firmament between the waters. He ordained these lights to divide the day from the night; and be for signs, for seasons, for days, and for years. To let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: (Genesis 1:14,15)

In their speech, language and voice, these lights of the firmament teach us of God’s great wisdom. For example, the light of the sun is in itself invisible--we can only see it on the objects on which it reflects. The sun’s heat also can only be felt when absorbed and reflected by the elements around us. In the same way, God’s love, warmth and care are manifest to others only when reflected and absorbed by his children. The moon itself has no light of its own, but its rocks act as reflectors. These reflectors give us the light that brightens our night sky.

In this dark and desperate world, if we let Him use us as reflectors of his love and wisdom, we can be the light and warmth of God for men and women everywhere,

May the life and wisdom of God enter in us so we can shine as lights in the midst of the spiritual darkness.  Let’s be one of God’s reflectors, but let us remember that the light doesn’t come from us.

Daniel 12:3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

Numbers 6:25-26 The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
